Aperture Preset - Levels for Lovers

this is a primarily levels-based preset that will twist the blacks a bit violently if there are a lot of shadows on the picture (which I like), giving them a very distinctive purple tone. it also helps with underexposure, although just slightly.

Great preset. I’m finding it works best with files that are flatter, well exposed (no clipped highlights/shadows) and with a proper white balance (otherwise color cast can be pretty gnarly). Great preset for some punch.

Thanks Distillerette.

thanks Tyson, you’re right…
it can definitely be a bit tricky if there are clipped areas but I’m glad you liked it!
