Lightroom Preset - Expired Film Presets Pack

This is my first series of presets for the new Lightroom 4.
(Created with the public beta 4 version)

It’s a vintage film look preset pack.
High contrast, low saturation and “milky blacks”.
There are 3 preset:
Normal, Cold and Warm

I’ve added film grain, so depending on the image resolution you may need to adjust the size of the grain

Enjoy the new Lightroom 4 develop module !!

Can you please do them for Lightroom 3? Thanks!

Hi HaWaIiCiNqZeRo
I created this preset in Lightroom beta 4 becasuse of new tool (the RGB Curves)
With the previous version of Lightroom (3) you can’t create this look.
Time to upgrade :)

@lyssa Unfortunately only Lightroom 4 has the RGB Curves. You can’t achieve the same results without RGB Curves in Lighroom 3 (can’t do these milky shadows effect)

These are some of the most realistic film presets I’ve found

Realistic?
I would better recommend to check this: http://reallyniceimages.com/index.php/all-film-the-ultimate-package/ or stuff from VSCO. They both do really good in film emulation.

Those film presets for lightroom are outdated. Try better reallyniceimages.com or vsсо.со

And what about film presets from http://www.reallyniceimages.com? They look ages ahead ))

http://www.reallyniceimages.com is better if talking about realistic film presets for lightroom.

Have you seen, reallyniceimages updated their Iconic Films: http://reallyniceimages.com/index.php/all-film-the-ultimate-package/ it is now called ‘Iconic Films 2′ and looks really god after adding some new film looks.

I have those presets but not using them often. They work quite rough. To me film presets from reallyniceimages.com work much-much better.

Not bad. But I would agree that RNI Iconic Films by reallyniceimages is (currently) the best if you’re after the real film simulation.
